Today was one of those days that just felt like I was on a roll. I got plenty of things done and sprinkled in a few luxuries for myself. I actually slept enough last night. When my alarm went off at 5:45 this morning I was actually ready for my day to start, this happens VERY rarely. I ran 5 miles then rode Brynne to school on a little caboose behind my cute new bike. I pulled the house together and made it to a 9 am spin class. I went to an 11am eye appt where I was told my vision one month post PRK surgery is 20/20!
I grabbed yummy Baja Fresh for lunch and then finished reading Stephanie Nielson's book Heaven Is Here while I got my car washed and a deluxe pedicure complete with some crazy blue leg mask and paraffin wax. I picked my kids up from school, did a few loads of laundry, unloaded the dishwasher, picked up meds for Brynne and dropped off scooter parts to my boys at the skate park. I dropped off a phone at The Phone Medics, picked up a pair of cute new green sandals, moved our old boat, which we happened to sell today, picked up kids from the skate park and got everyone dinner.
The day had no extraordinary happenings, and was actually fairly typical, but it just felt good. Perhaps it was my perspective that was a little different today in light of the book I was reading. Perhaps it was because of the friendly faces I saw in the morning, or just maybe that's just how good it feels when you actually sleep at night. Probably its a combination of all of the above. Regardless, I'll take it!

Where did you get your pedicure and how much was it? My sister and I are looking for a good place but we are manicurists and are somewhat picky (especially on cleanliness)!
it was at Fantasy Nails in the Target shopping center. I just like their new big fancy massage chairs. I'm sure you guys have probably been there before...if you find somewhere you like better once you're here this summer though, let me know!
